The Porretta Center for Orthopaedic Surgery is a team of board certified Orthopaedic Surgeons dedicated to providing excellent care for a wide range of orthopaedic problems. Our practice is one of the first orthopaedic practices of Providence, established in 1959 by Charles Porretta. Although he is now retired, our physicians remain impressed by his dedication and passion for medicine, and honor him by naming the practice after him.
The Porretta Center prides itself on the ability to provide both general orthopaedic surgical care, as well as treatment of complex musculoskeletal, orthopaedic diseases, and sports medicine through advanced subspecialty training and surgical expertise. As key faculty members of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at the DMC/Providence Hospital site, the surgeons at the Porretta Center remains active academically and are committed to supporting Orthopaedic research and scholarly activity. Over the years our doctors have used their training, research, talent, and technology to ensure that our patients maintain their active lifestyle.
We are pleased to have you as a patient. If you have any questions, always feel free to contact our office and our trained staff will assist you in any way possible.
We would like to congratulate Dr. Bolz, Dr. Haynes, Dr. Markel and Dr. Michaelson for being recognized as some of the “Top Docs” in Hour Detroit Magazine.
